Aaron Drake
Aaron J. Drake (born c. 1964)[1] is an American paramedic and cryonicist. He worked as a paramedic firefighter in Lincoln, Nebraska from 1992 to 2006.[2] In January 2009, he started working for the Alcor Life Extension Foundation as the Transport Coordinator,[3][4] and he was the Medical Response Director of Alcor for many years until 2016.[5]
Drake helped to set up a cryonics facility, the Shandong Yinfeng Life Science Research Institute, in Jinan, Shandong, China. From April 2016 to April 2023, he worked as the Director of Research and Chief Specialist at Yinfeng.[2] During his years in China, he continued consulting for Alcor during parts of the year[5][6] as the Senior Medical Response Consultant.[3] Since April 2022, he has worked as the Medical Consultant for Cryonics4U.[2] Since September 2023, he has worked as the Director of Clinical Education for Resurgence Biomedical Sciences.[2]
With Eric Vogt, Drake founded International Cryomedicine Experts (I.C.E.),[7] a company that provides SST services.
According to Drake, he has participated in more than 80 cryopreservations around the world.[8]
