[1]: Historically, in certain circumstances, Alcor has taken on "last minute cases", possibly with an extra fee, although it's not obvious what that fee is.

[2]: At Cryonics Institute, last-minute cases (if accepted) pay a higher fee of $45,000.

[3]: The KrioRus FAQ says the payment is typically done all at once, or over the course of 2 to 3 years.
